We contacted Lea and Caroline, the founders of Rickenbacher Zimmerli Architects in Switzerland to design a piece of tableware for People of the Sun. We send them images and videos of artisans at work and they came back to us with the TWIN salad servers. The design and drawings were so good that the artisans managed to get it right from the first prototype. 

 

TWIN Salad Servers design celebrates local indigenous skills and the beauty of local indigenous hardwoods, while staying true to the swiss minimalism and sophistication of its designers.  The Salad Servers are made out of one piece of wood, so when you join the two together you see the wood grains of one piece carrying on to the next.
